Isolation Portraits Project

The Isolation Portraits Project was born during the 2020 lockdown in my Dubliner room.
Inspired by photographers such as Nadia Meli, I decided to grab my camera and devices and have online portraits sessions with my friends all over the world.
That helped me to overcome the anxiety of those endless weeks of uncertainty, to have a purpose at mornings, other than have breakfast and to get in touch with people I’ve hadn’t spoken too in ages.
The result is this series of photographs and a collection of honest answers to three not-so-easy questions:

– Who are you?
– Which languages do you speak and why?
– What does being alone mean to you?

The project is divided into the 8 blog posts below.
Enjoy 🙂
