So long, 2020
So, this should be a post with my 2020 highlights, but I thought to start with a laugh, by reading what I wrote at the end of 2019:
So, this should be a post with my 2020 highlights, but I thought to start with a laugh, by reading what I wrote at the end of 2019:
Creating websites is one of my favourite things to do in the world! It is so much fun to bring to life something that will give an online presence to a whole company, a sole trader, an artist… It is very much satisfying and you can go wild with plenty of functions, details and tricks that can help the business making an impression on their potential clients.
Did you know I graduated in Art History in Rome? Is there a better place in the world to study Art? I don’t think so!
That’s part of the reason why I moved to the Eternal City from Northern Italy to fulfil my dream of study the beauties created by humankind across the centuries.
It’s always exciting to see my work populate a client’s website and help them to build their presence on the web.
Researches show that teams are particularly successful when very specialised people meet multipotentialites – or multipods. That’s because the two categories put together a very focused vision with a creative approach that explores various points of view.
Contatto is the search for that feeling of human connection. Artists who have roots in Ireland and beyond are the protagonists of this story, the story of Ireland’s creativity, a story that is not complete without these voices.
Who wouldn’t want to be in Sicily, right now, enjoying a granita under the sun? Breathing the smell of the deep blue sea? Waiting for a warm, red sunset to fall upon them? Wearing a light dress, with the wind caressing their hair?
I definitely would LOVE it! But at least I have the chance to virtually fly there working on the beautiful photographs of GAP, aka Antonino Gitto, a very talented photographer based in Messina, Sicily.
It’s always a pleasure being called to give shape to valuable projects.
At the beginning of March, before all the Covid-19 madness and lockdown started, I met the managers of the Mi-WOW project.
Last Thursday 14th of May I had the last two sessions of my Isolation Portraits Project.
The total lockdown in Ireland is over since Monday 18th, so it made sense to finish my project just before it.
The lockdown in Ireland is coming close to an end, so this is the penultimate blog post with my beloved Isolation Portraits.
It’s been quite a trip down to memory lane, meeting all these friends during the last two months. I’ve been sharing with you pieces of my life and heart, just because.
