Have you ever thought what being a photo editor is like?
Someone could think that being a photo editor is something very boring and repetitive. But it is not.
Every time I see a photograph, my brain starts drawing stories behind that image. Sometimes romantic, sometimes funny, sometimes surrealistic. And that’s because of my sense of humor and fantasy.
But, when the shots are good and inspired, I happen to connect them to other more famous pictures. It could be a painting, a photograph or a movie frame.
That’s what happened when I was working on a fab wedding held in one of the Aran Islands, shot by Dee Organ Photography.

Now, you may wonder what I saw in this lovely and wild wedding walk.
Well, as soon as I saw it, even before recalling the actual famous movie frame, I started hearing the even more popular tune:
So, even if the context and the scenary were completly different, in my mind the two pictures were superimposable and I thought Dee’s photo was (unconsciously?) inspired by the perfect end of one of the best movies by Italian director Federico Fellini “8 1/2”, which – by the way – is one of my favourite movies of all times. (Highly racommended!!)
Therefore, next time you think about a photo editor you will know that we can sometimes have lots of fun just…working!
Awe that’s so cute! X
